MARSANNAY
Village "Clos Du Roy"
Among the white wines of Marsannay, Clos du Roy stands out with notes of citrus, honey, and white flowers (hawthorn, acacia).
The palate is full and rounded, underpinned by a fine mineral streak. With its length, suppleness, and richness, it’s appealing even in youth—but patience is rewarded after two years of cellaring.

A PERSONAL REFLECTION
Terroir, ORIGIN,
and identity
Located in the former village of Chenôve, the Clos du Roy vineyard sits mid-slope. The upper reaches of the hillside are now gradually being replanted with pine.
Chardonnay finds an ideal expression here in deep soils of limestone scree from the Bathonian age—soils well suited to revealing the identity of this terroir.
