Wines under the "Nuits" appellation are the most robust, full-bodied and strong in tannins of all Côtes-de-Nuits wines. They are usually ready to drink about 4 or 5 years after being bottled, and will age perfectly for about ten years.

The geographic location and exposure grant the wine its strong tannins, its robust and sometimes slightly austere character, but it also is rich and full-bodied with good balance. It always has a nice long finish and the last note is tannic and characteristic. The result is a wine of character that will not leave anyone indifferent.
