FIXIN
Village
Less well known than its red counterpart but every bit as compelling, this Fixin displays a pale gold hue—clear and bright.
On the nose, it offers appealing floral and citrus notes. The attack is direct, the mid-palate rounded yet precise. This is a very enjoyable wine, defined by finesse and f reshness.

A PERSONAL REFLECTION
Terroir, ORIGIN,
and identity
The village of Fixin is naturally sheltered from the extremes of the Bourgogne climate. It enjoys a mesoclimate so favorable that even the oldest growers remember only one devastating hailstorm.
The vineyard lies within the “En Crechelin” lieu-dit. The name combines two references to stone: “Crè” from crais (stony soil) and “chelin,” a derivative of chaille (flint). The site sits on the alluvial cone at the mouth of the Fixin valley.
