FIXIN
Village  "Vieille Vigne"

Ample and generous, our “Vieille Vigne” (Old Vine) cuvée of Fixin surprises with its deep, saturated purple hue.

The nose is immediately engaging, evoking a purée of red berries. On the palate, it delivers the generous expression and forthright style so emblematic of Pinot Noir. A full-bodied wine with a bouquet that opens beautifully over time.

Terroir, ORIGIN,
and identity

Our Fixin “Vieille Vigne” comes from a well-positioned site in the southern part of the village, spanning the parcels “Les Fondemens” and “Aux Boutoillottes”.

To the north, it borders Les Crais; to the south, it runs alongside the Chemin de la Maladière, which also flanks our “En Crechelin” vineyard. Planted in 1946, this old vine adds valuable diversity to our range of appellations.

As Vincent Mongeard notes, “Les Fondemens” now qualifies for the Vieille Vigne designation, with vines surpassing 65 years of age.
