VOSNE-ROMANÉE
Village "Les Maizières-Hautes"
The wines from the Les Maizières-Hautes parcel embody the finesse and elegance typical of Vosne-Romanée.
With persistent aromas of raspberry and blackcurrant, the wine surprises with its length and suppleness. Rich and mouthfilling, it reveals a suave, generous nature.

A PERSONAL REFLECTION
Terroir, ORIGIN,
and identity
Our parcel of Les Maizières-Hautes enjoys an excellent location in the commune of Flagey-Échezeaux.
Bordered to the west by Échezeaux and to the south by Les Hautes Maizières, this lieu-dit is among the village’s finest.
Historical texts trace the name “Maizières” to the Old French maceriae, referring to enclosure walls or the remains of ruined buildings. Even today, plowing occasionally turns up dressed stone—fragments from long-vanished structures.
The name “Maizières” appears in several Côte d’Or villages, with variants like Mazoyères and Mazis.
