COLLECTION PREMIERS CRUS
VOUGEOT
Premier Cru "Les Petits Vougeots"
Just steps from Clos de Vougeot, “Les Amoureuses”, and Musigny, the wines of Vougeot share a natural kinship with these illustrious crus.
Its limited production lends it a special cachet.
Deep ruby with violet highlights, its color signals the power and pedigree of its origin.
On the nose, violets, honeysuckle, and hawthorn lead, followed by black fruits—griotte, blackberry, and blackcurrant—promising both depth and finesse.
On the palate, delicate tannins lend a smooth, harmonious texture to the palate. A spicy touch lifts the aromatic intensity.

A PERSONAL REFLECTION
Terroir, ORIGIN,
and identity
In the 19th century, “Les Petits Vougeots” was among the “Premières Cuvées” of Vougeot (along with La Vigne Blanche), with Clos de Vougeot considered the “Tête de Cuvée.”
This is also where the Petite Vouge spring rises—flowing only during heavy rains—before joining the main source, the Vouge. The soils and subsoils here closely resemble those found in the northern section of Clos de Vougeot.
