COLLECTION PREMIERS CRUS
VOSNE-ROMANÉE
Premier Cru "Les Suchots"
Located near Romanée-Saint-Vivant, these wines are full-bodied, fragrant, and elegant.
Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru “Les Suchots” is consistently remarkable, showing admirable consistency despite a varied landscape.
With its deep ruby to garnet color and impressive intensity, Les Suchots evokes Musigny on a more modest scale.
The nose reveals complex aromas of spice and ripe fruit and licorice. On the palate, fine, delicate tannins give the wine length, silkiness, and a velvety texture that make it especially refined.

A PERSONAL REFLECTION
Terroir, ORIGIN,
and identity
The climat “Les Suchots” has a name likely dating back to prehistoric or protohistoric times. Like “Le Suchet”, it may derive from “suc” or “suquet”—used in southern France to mean “hill” or “small peak.”
“There are no common wines in Vosne”, wrote Abbé Claude Courtepée at the end of the 18th century—and Les Suchots is a perfect example. Perhaps no greater praise could be offered to this remarkable vineyard, which brings together all the qualities a wine lover might hope for.
